Here's a glimpse of the fun had today at the Brooten Lanes for the B-B-E Area Youth Group bowling challenge:

Community Thanksgiving

Volunteers were ready to serve today at Trinity Lutheran Church.

On the coldest Thanksgiving in 29 years, volunteers lined up enough food for 200 people at today's B-B-E Community Thanksgiving dinner at Trinity Lutheran Church.

Be sure to spread the word about the Community Thanksgiving dinner that will be held on Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brooten.

They always have a surplus of food!!! So feel free to come by and bring a neighbor or too while you're at it.

Brooten area gets dumped on

Here's the view outside church on Tuesday morning, before the Brooten city workers took all the plowed snow off of the streets around town.

Over 15 inches of snow fell over the Brooten area and on Trinity Lutheran and West Lake Johanna churches on Monday and Tuesday, November 10-11 this week. It had many roads all but shut down on Monday evening.

Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported in our immediate area.

Preschool through 9th grade Sunday School students will take an active role in the Sunday service at the Trinity Lutheran Church service on November 2. Service begins at 9 a.m.
