Once the Sunday church service was over, the nine youth from Trinity Lutheran Church gathered for a group photo. Pastor Kaden and the adult chaperones somehow managed to avoid being in the photo! |

It was a great weekend for the nine youth attending the Junior High gathering in Willmar on November 22-23.
Here's Pastor Salim speaking on Sunday morning during worship service:
One of the main messages shared with the youth was the concept of being a "Welcomer" to God's love. According to one of the speakers, a "Welcomer" is defined this way: a person who builds people up, who fills needs, who prays for others; this type of person is an active listener and asks questions during a conversation, they're not distracted and they show empathy.
More simply put, a "Welcomer" asks how another person is doing and actually means it!
